Luke-Acts 02 | 1:5-56
In chapters 1 and 2 of his Gospel, Luke raises the issue, “How Should We Respond to the Word of the Lord?” The priest Zachariah provides a negative example for us while the young Mary provides a positive example. In these introductory narratives, we get a view of faith in response to the Lord’s sometimes impossible sounding message.
