Paul's Prison Letters
Teacher: Stacy Tyson
At the end of our study of Acts, we left Paul in prison in Rome. But that was not the end of Paul's story. From prison, Paul wrote four letters Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians, and Philemon. These letters contain some of Paul's best and highest teaching on Christ, The Church and our Fellowship as Followers of Christ. We will study these letters as a way to also develop a "Life of Paul."
This course will be offered at three times:
A Women's Class on Monday at Christ Church,
A general class Tuesday Noon at First Evangelical,
An ONLINE class Tuesday Night on Zoom.
The Letter to the Hebrews
Teacher: Dr. Jim Allman
Hebrews is one of the most important books in the New Testament, equalling Romans in theological depth. Its primary message is to prepare Christians to endure suffering through faith. The means of such perseverance is faith in the supremacy of Jesus.
This class will be offered on Thursdays at 12:30pm at Central Church.
Our courses cost $50 per semester. If this causes any financial hardship, we have scholarships available.
Our Fall semester will run from the Week of September 9th and break for Thanksgiving and Christmas the week of November 18th. Our Winter/Spring semester will resume on January 13th 2025 and end in late April-early May.
