And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and gave Him to the church as head over all things.
Now The Church is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Father God has given us a Vision of The Kingdom defining all reality in the future. He has also entrusted us—the Church, the Body of Christ—with the work of “making disciples from all nations.” In the Church, He is transforming us to be like His One Unique Son—our Lord Jesus—through the work of the Holy Spirit. Each of us who are In Christ has been shaped and gifted to play a key role in this work.
(more…)Jesus desires that we see Him as He is in all His excellent splendor and magnificence. What we have been given now “IN Christ” is only a glimpse of the good things to come. Jesus is anticipating the time when we will be with Him, see Him as He truly is and all things will be made NEW.
(more…)We continue to discuss the importance of “Oneness” among Jesus’ people. Why does Jesus want His people to be “one”? So that the World will believe and know that He was sent by the Father!
(more…)Today, we discuss one of the most significant truths in the Scriptures: Oneness. Jesus and the Father are “One.” Jesus prays that all of His people will be “One.” Through our “Oneness” we display the reality of who Jesus is.

“I in them and you in me—that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.”
This week, we listen to and explore one of our Lord Jesus’ last prayers during His earthly work. In it, we hear both the Lord’s heart and desire for His people. He prays this prayer to prepare His first disciples for the work that would be entrusted to them as they would lay the foundation for The Church, the Body of Christ. Since we have come to know Jesus through these men’s work, it is important for us to understand what Jesus wanted for them because He desires those same things for us.
(more…)We end our weeks readings carefully defining The Church. It is important to understand that there is a “capital C Church” which is the Body of Christ. This everyone who has trusted and followed Christ. This CHURCH is made up of churches – smaller gatherings of followers who meet in a certain place and time.
