Every human being who has ever lived has failed to be completely faithful to God our Creator. Except One. Because Jesus was faithful, we can be set right with Father God by trusting Him. Christ is our righteousness – our “right way” to restore our relationship with Father God.

“And because of Him (Father-God) you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
Everything we have has been given to us. This is true for life in general but especially true when talking about our spiritual lives. Father-God has worked in Christ through His Holy Spirit to do everything for us that we could not do for ourselves in order to make us whole and holy.

Today, we discuss the second of our Core Exercises: Prayer. Prayer is simply entering into an ongoing conversation with Father God in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Prayer is a response to Father God’s first words of blessing and grace given to us in Christ.

Throughout MilktoMeat we explore the relationship of Hope, Faith, and Love. These three virtues are intertwined and inseparable. In our fist Phase, Discovering the Way, we focused on Hope as being the “first thing” that our Heavenly Father gives us through the Message of the Gospel (see Colossians 1:4-6). Yesterday we reviewed the foundational role Hope plays in our lives. Now we are going to focus on understanding Faith.

In this new relationship, we have a New Position and Identity that equips us to live an entirely new way of life that is pleasing to The Father and soul-satisfying to us.
