1 & 2 Samuel

A study of 1&2 Samuel looking at the rise of Israel’s monarchy and the Davidic Dynasty. These books record an important era of Israel’s history – a blend of political thriller, family saga, and spiritual biography—rooted in the LORD-God’s unfolding plan of redemption. We will explore how the stories of Samuel, Saul, and David still speak to our struggles with identity, power, temptation, and faith today. We will also correlate the events of these books with the Psalms and other historical books.
